User Deletion Policy

1. Your Right to Delete Your Account

You can delete your MiniUs account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

2. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following data within 30 days:

  • Your account profile and credentials
  • All photos you uploaded
  • Your personality and story responses
  • Your generated MiniUs AI characters and related content
  • Wedding details and guest information
  • Any other personal data associated with your account

3. What May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where required:

  • Legal obligations — Transaction records and invoices may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations
  • Fraud prevention — Basic account identifiers may be retained to prevent abuse and protect other users
  • Aggregated data — Anonymised, non-identifiable data may be retained for analytics and service improvement

4. Deletion Process

The deletion process works as follows:

  1. Navigate to your account settings and select "Delete Account"
  2. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  3. Your account is immediately deactivated and inaccessible
  4. All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days

5. Third-Party Data

If you signed in using a third-party provider (such as Google), deleting your MiniUs account does not affect your third-party account. You may also want to revoke MiniUs's access from your third-party provider's settings.

6. Requesting Deletion Without an Account

If you are unable to access your account or need assistance with data deletion, you can contact us at privacy@minius.ai. We will verify your identity before processing any deletion request.
